Dinusha Sanduni De Silva
Special education and physics teacher, Dehiwala
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Harbor Secondary School
- 2007 to 2019
- English
I taught special education at Harbor Secondary School in Dehiwala from 2007 to 2019. Most days I taught first-year students, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Dinusha
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

I was in your first-year students class in 2023. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Manchester.

You taught me special education in 2019 at Harbor Secondary School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.
