I taught early years at Colombo Middle School in Colombo from 2014 to 2023. Most days I taught first-year students, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 200 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dinusha
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
