Dinesh W. Pillai

Calligraphy and woodcarving artist

  • 🇮🇳 Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
  • Old Hillcrest Art Collective
  • 1980 to 2011
  • English, Telugu
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1980 at Old Hillcrest Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I make terrible puns. Thank you for stopping by.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
