Dinesh L. Panwar

Painter, potter and teacher at Eastgate Pottery

  • 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
  • Eastgate Pottery
  • Since 1981
  • English, Hindi
I work mostly in digital art, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1981 at Eastgate Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Eastgate Pottery, which keeps me honest. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Dinesh

I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Dinesh: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
