I've spent 46 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Harbor College in Negombo. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I make terrible puns.
More about Dinesh
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dinesh: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
