I've been a nurse for 18 years, most of them in mental health at Pietermaritzburg Children's Hospital in Pietermaritzburg. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I'm learning the guitar.
