Dimitra Oikonomou
Taught environmental science at Lakeview Middle School
- 🇬🇷 Piraeus, Attica, Greece
- 1980 to 2009
- English, Greek
For 29 years I was the environmental science teacher at Lakeview Middle School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Dimitra
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Dimitra: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
