Dilara Yıldırım

Physics and French teacher, Bornova

🇹🇷 Bornova, İzmir, Türkiye
Bornova Primary School
Since 1995
English

For 31 years I have been the physics teacher at Bornova Primary School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm still learning every day.

More about Dilara

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Physics

What gifts mean to Dilara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
