Dilara Derya Başaran
Watercolor artist in Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Pottery
- 2013 to 2024
- English, Turkish
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2013 at Üsküdar Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the changing seasons. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Dilara
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Dilara: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
