Dilara Çiftçi
Leadership mentor, Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Youth Network
- 2003 to 2012
- English, Turkish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 410 people through Istanbul Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I run most mornings.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Dilara
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Dilara: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
