Dilani Samarasinghe
Youth dance coach and mentor
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Dehiwala Boxing Gym
- Since 1990
- English, Sinhala
For 36 years I've run the dance program at Dehiwala Boxing Gym in Dehiwala. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Dilani
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Dilani: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
