I teach social studies at Hillcrest Academy in Yonkers since 2006. Most days I teach first-year students, and I learn every name in the first week.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Diệp
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Diệp: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
