Diego Sebastião Fernandes

Painter, potter and teacher at The Caxias do Sul Studio

  • 🇧🇷 Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
  • The Caxias do Sul Studio
  • Since 2011
  • Portuguese
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 2011 at The Caxias do Sul Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at The Caxias do Sul Studio, which keeps me honest. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Diego

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Diego: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
