Diego R. Urbina
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, Mexico
- San Nicolás de los Garza Repairs
- Since 1982
- English, Spanish
I've worked in thatching since 1982. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 2,070 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Diego
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Diego: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
