For 15 years I ran the hockey program at Porto Alegre Bamboo Swimming Club in Porto Alegre. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Diego
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Diego: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2016. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Thessaloniki.
