Diego Lorenzo Solís

Masonry, done properly

  • 🇲🇽 San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico
  • Beacon Shop
  • 1981 to 1991
  • Spanish
I've worked in masonry from 1981 to 1991. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 370 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Diego

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
