Diego F. Ruiz
Mentor in first-generation students and writing
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Houston Youth Network
- Since 2012
- English, Spanish
For 14 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and writing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

You helped me get my first first-generation students job in 2023. I still have your notes. Greetings from Rohini.
