I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,040 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Diego
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Diego: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
