I've spent 35 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Ciudad de México University in Ciudad de México. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
More about Diego
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Diego: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
