I taught music at Heritage Middle School in Erie from 1982 to 2017. Most days I taught teenagers, and I played music while people worked.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Diego
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
