Diego A. Cabrera
Oil painting and jewelry artist
- 🇲🇽 Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico
- Old Hillcrest Studio
- Since 1986
- English, Spanish
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1986 at Old Hillcrest Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I make terrible puns.
More about Diego
I've had 13 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Diego: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
