Diana Oprea
Professor of computer science, Timișoara University

- Timișoara University
- Since 1980
- English, Romanian, French
I teach computer science at Timișoara University since 1980, and supervised 55 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Diana
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Diana: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
