Dhruv S. Thakkar

Jazz and brass band teacher

  • 🇮🇳 Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
  • Beacon Orchestra
  • 1978 to 2002
  • English, Marathi, French
I've played jazz from 1978 to 2002, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.

What gifts mean to Dhruv: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
