Dhanalakshmi N. Murthy

27 years teaching social studies in Howrah

  • 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
  • 1982 to 2014
  • English, Tamil
I taught social studies at Lotus Technical College in Howrah from 1982 to 2014. Most days I taught first-year students, and I learned every name in the first week. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm still learning every day.

More about Dhanalakshmi

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
