Dhanalakshmi K. Namboothiri
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Starlight Shop
- Since 2007
- English
I've worked in thatching since 2007. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 700 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Dhanalakshmi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
