Baobab Primary School is my second home. I teach physics there since 1978, mostly mixed-ability classes.
Over the years I've had 1,200 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Dhanalakshmi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Dhanalakshmi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me physics in 1996 at Baobab Primary School. I still remember the long bus ride home. Truly.
