Dewi Fitri Effendi
13 years teaching art in Makassar
- 🇮🇩 Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia
- Makassar Boys' School
- 2005 to 2021
- English, Indonesian
I taught art and Spanish at Makassar Boys' School, Makassar. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Dewi
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Dewi: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me art in 2021 at Makassar Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
