For 39 years I have been the English literature teacher at Bandung Primary School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
