Devi Sundaram
Taught mathematics at Varanasi Secondary School
- 🇮🇳 Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Varanasi Secondary School
- 1986 to 1998
- English
I taught mathematics at Varanasi Secondary School in Varanasi from 1986 to 1998. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Devi
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Devi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
