Devi G. Iyengar

Woodcarving artist in Kochi

  • 🇮🇳 Kochi, Kerala, India
  • Kochi Gallery
  • Since 2000
  • English, Kannada, French
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 2000 at Kochi Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Kochi Gallery, which keeps me honest. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Devi: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
