Devi B. Natarajan
Weaving, done properly
- 🇮🇳 Surat, Gujarat, India
- Little Rosewood Works
- Since 1989
- English, Telugu
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Surat, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Devi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Devi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
