Helping people break into engineering
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye

For 14 years I've mentored people in engineering and leadership. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Derya: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
