38 years teaching economics in Brampton
- 🇨🇦 Brampton, Ontario, Canada
- Silverlake Primary School
- 2010 to 2025

For 15 years I was the economics teacher at Silverlake Primary School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Derek
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Derek: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
