I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Derek
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me statistics in 2016 at Lotus High School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won!
