I teach French and statistics at Baton Rouge Technical College, Baton Rouge. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Derek

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
