Derek Perkins
French and chemistry teacher, Burnaby
- 🇨🇦 Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
- Burnaby Grammar School
- Since 1983
- English
Burnaby Grammar School is my second home. I teach French there since 1983, mostly Year 7.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Derek
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

you taught me French in 2023 at Burnaby Grammar School. I still remember the long bus ride home.

I'm a mechanic now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Kandy.

you taught me French in 1989 at Burnaby Grammar School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Thank you again.
