I teach religious studies and music at Birmingham Boys' School, Birmingham. My door was open at lunch.
I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Derek
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Derek: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
