For 46 years I have been the drama teacher at Starlight Public School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Derek
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Derek: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
