Derek J. Wallace

Youth rugby coach and mentor

  • 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
  • Lakeview Community Club
  • 1985 to 2013
  • English
I coached rugby at Lakeview Community Club from 1985 to 2013. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.

More about Derek

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Derek: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
