I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2005 at Little Sakura Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Derek: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
