Derek G. Murphy

23 years teaching design and technology in Spokane

🇺🇸 Spokane, Washington, United States
Stonebridge Public School
Since 2000
English, French

For 26 years I have been the design and technology teacher at Stonebridge Public School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Derek

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

Subjects taught

Design and technology Biology

What gifts mean to Derek: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
