I've served Brookfield Mosque in Newcastle upon Tyne from 1992 to 2007. My days are mostly visiting, listening and helping people carry things, sometimes literally.
People come with every kind of question. I try to listen first. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
