Derek B. Brewer

Teacher at Detroit Primary School, loves chemistry

🇺🇸 Detroit, Michigan, United States
Detroit Primary School
2005 to 2024
English

For 19 years I was the chemistry teacher at Detroit Primary School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Derek

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
