Derek B. Barnes
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
- Austin Works
- Since 2018
- English
I'm a bicycle repair specialist. If you live around Austin, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Derek: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.

You taught me the trade. I run my own shop now! Greetings from Istanbul.
