I taught special education at Unity Academy in Jimma from 2002 to 2025. Most days I taught primary school children, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Dereje: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
