For 19 years I was the social studies teacher at Windsor Secondary School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 930 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Dereje
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Dereje: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 1992. You believed I could do it before I did.

You taught me social studies in 1996 at Windsor Secondary School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped!
