Helping people break into teaching
- 🇨🇦 Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
- Ottawa Community Trust
- 2005 to 2016
- English
For eleven years I've mentored people in teaching and writing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Dennis
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Dennis: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
