Teacher at San Francisco Public School, loves special education

I teach special education at San Francisco Public School in San Francisco since 1980. Most days I teach Year 10, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Dennis
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Dennis: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
