For eight years I've run the wrestling program at Accra Bamboo Athletic Club in Accra. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Dennis: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the last day before the summer holidays. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Bahir Dar.
