Coached cross country for 29 years in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Ashford Swimming Club
- 1982 to 2011
- English, Swahili
I coached cross country at Nairobi Ashford Swimming Club from 1982 to 2011. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
I'm still learning every day.
